About
Hubbard & Curry Med-Save Pharmacy has a lot to be proud of, including our 100+ year tradition of providing the absolute best in professional and caring pharmaceutical services to Lexington residents.
When our patients need a new prescription or refill, an immunization or flu shot, or over the counter items such as Ananda Professional CBD Oil, they know they can depend on us for fast, friendly, and professional service.
For patients in a hurry, we offer a convenient drive-through, and for those who can’t make it to the pharmacy to pick up their prescriptions, we’re proud to offer free, same day delivery throughout Lexington. For those who take multiple medications, we offer sealed medicine packs that make it easy to know what medicine to take and what time to take it, every day of the week.
More than anything else, we’re proud of our willingness to answer our patients’ questions and help out whenever possible. If you haven’t already checked out Hubbard & Curry Med-Save Pharmacy, give us a call or stop by and see us. We can’t wait to meet you!
Meet The Pharmacists
Chris Potter, Owner/Pharmacist in Charge
“I grew up watching my uncle operate a pharmacy from afar, and knowing that I wanted to work in the medical field. I’m from a small town in Floyd County, and over the years I’ve worked in other locations, but I grew to love Lexington while I was at the University of Kentucky. I’m very happy to own my own store here, and I’m proud of the services we offer, including our free, same day delivery. I’m also proud of the fact that my staff and I take the time to treat our patients like family. I invite anyone interested in the highest quality pharmaceutical care to come and see us at Hubbard & Curry Med-Save Pharmacy!"
Mike Fitch, Pharmacist
"Pharmacy has always been a family affair for me; my father owned a pharmacy in Georgetown, Kentucky, and my wife Jennifer (also a pharmacist) purchased Hubbard & Curry from her father in 2001. I’m proud to still be a part of current owner Pharmacist Chris Potter’s team as we continue our tradition of over 100 years of personalized pharmaceutical care to Lexington families."
Meet Our Staff
Andrew Patag, Pharmacy Technician
Andrew is from Los Angeles, California, and a graduate of UCLA. Andrew says he came here because "UK's College of Pharmacy is one of, if not THE best in the country." Some of you might know Andrew from his "spare time" work with local athletes at Lexington United Volleyball. Whether you see him here at Hubbard & Curry Med-Save Pharmacy or on the volleyball court or just around town, it won't take you long to notice that he's a great guy with a great smile and even better attitude!
Sheila Thompson, Pharmacy Technician
Sheila Thompson began her career as a Pharmacy Technician at Rite Aid approximately 10 years ago. Since becoming a part of the Med-Save family two years ago (first at Med-Save Legends before joining the team at Hubbard & Curry Med-Save), Sheila has noticed a big difference between “big box” stores and independent pharmacies. “It’s more personal here. We know our customers and care about them and that’s what I love about it,” Sheila says. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Sheila has retired twice, but says that “sitting still just isn’t for me.”
Daryl Fitzpatrick, Delivery Driver
"I am a retired firefighter for the Lexington Fire Department, and I came to work at Hubbard & Curry Med-Save Pharmacy approximately 13 years ago. It was a good fit, because I’ve always enjoyed helping people, and working here is just another way to do that. When you deliver to patients weekly or every few weeks, you get to know them, and I love that. I like to tell people that in my job as a delivery driver, I fill lots of roles: public relations, counselling, and most importantly, family member—because we really do treat our patients like family."
Involved in our Community
Studies show that for every dollar spent at stores like ours, 73% of it stays in the county, as opposed to 40% at a national chain. We’re proud of that, and we want to continue to make that kind of positive impact on the community.
To do that, we make regular donations to local churches and other charitable organizations. We also provide flu shots and other necessary services to Lexington’s Hope Center. We’re also very proud of our personalized, caring service, our free delivery service to anywhere in Fayette County, and our determination to go the extra mile for our customers.
